Image Description: Nothing says “lonely” quite like a empty road that seems to go on forever! While this one certainly stretches on and on, it isn’t entirely empty, though the few drivers around may feel that way given the long road ahead, and the expanse of desert on either side of them. The gaping space between the mountains in the distance gives the impression of a land of infinite destinations and infinite possibilities, representing anything at all to everyone who sees it. While certainly looking as if it is truly in the middle of nowhere, the well-kept pavement and road markers indicate that the road is maintained on a regular basis, at least.
