Image Description: Ancient and medieval buildings always serve to give us something interesting to look at in modern times, but sometimes the true wonders of these structures are found outside of their walls, instead of within. In this case, we’re looking at a slim path that hugs the outside walls of this obviously old building, housing benches for sitting and bordering what is probably an extensive garden on its opposite side. The path curves gracefully along with the outer walls, almost hinting at a building built just as much for its architectural beauty as for its day-to-day functioning. Even while the structure is obviously aged, the garden in the courtyard is still well-kept, perhaps speaking to the ongoing use of the building in modern times.
