Image Description: Long known as a popular tourist destination, St. Basil’s Cathedral plays host to thousands of visitors each year, and this look at its absolutely unique architecture gives us a good idea as to why this is. With three minarets and the top of a fourth building in view, this photograph treats us to the varied colors that have been used in their respective construction, ranging from clean whites to deep blues, with lots of the natural hues of the building materials used to be found, as well. Making things even more interesting is the strange angle at which the picture was taken, slanting our view to the right, all as if the photographer were standing on a severely leaning surface while capturing the moment.
