Image Description: Just a pencil, you say? Not at all! This pencil is stenciled along its side with the “Just Do It” logo made famous by sports company Nike, making it something of a high-end pencil - at least from a consumerist point of view. Unfortunately, despite its high-end name, the sharpened end of the pencil reveals a rough, untextured wood, usually a sure sign of a low-quality pencil that is difficult to sharpen and prone to broken graphite tips. While it’s been sharpened, the unused eraser gives the impression that this pencil may have never been used in practice, perhaps serving only as a model for our photographer.
