Image Description: The materials used to construct large buildings have ranged widely over the millennia, from the limestone of Ancient Egypt to the steel and glass of today, and it is the modern end of the spectrum that this photograph of two huge office towers showcases. While the angle of the photograph makes it difficult to tell for sure, the buildings appear to be inverted twins, each with an “L†shape that turns into its neighbor. While we can’t see from this vantage point, that likely makes for a spectacular inner courtyard! In any case, it is glass that dominates every square inch of the sides of both buildings, making for a reflective surface in which we can see the very clouds themselves, and in surprising detail!
