Image Description: It’s impossible to say from this angle - though the cobblestone paths and modern street lamps tend to give it away - but this mountain isn’t a mountain at all; rather, it is an amusement ride designed to resemble a small-scale Mount Everest at a Disney theme park. Regardless of its unnatrual origins, the behemoth is impressive from where we sit, resembling a sharply rising peak jutting out from within the dense jungle. The snow-covered peaks of the mountain belie the high temperature that is obviously being felt below, giving us our second strongest hint at the lack of mountainous authenticity to be found in this photograph.
