Image Description: This precious little wild boar piglet romping in the mud is only a fraction of the size that he will become - he’s so small that he’s barely able to keep his tummy from getting full of mud, but this will not be an issue when he's all grown up! While adult male boars weigh on average between 110 - 200 lbs, there are many fluctuations in size and weight between environments, with some recorded cases of boars reaching 660 lbs. This little guy may look cute now, but those soft wispy stripes will disappear by the time he is six months old, and his coat will coarsen up turning into the grizzled brown or gray fur on an adult. Male boars will also develop tusks that will continuously grow, providing him with a tool and a weapon.
