Image Description: Pervasive like a pest, but as beautiful as the thousands of other plants that we’ve come to love so much as visual stimulants, ivy is well-known for its ability to scale up and over its surroundings, and that has made for an interesting setup in urban areas. Where ivy would usually use its Spiderman-like qualities in order to compete with other greenery in its surrounding area, the clinging plant now uses its talent to climb to the tops of human structures, evidenced quite well in this photograph. While almost disconcerting, the effect is very pleasing, with the ivy’s deep green color adding a bit of cheer to an otherwise drab wall.
