At Christmas time, some stores will open up in shopping centers that will sell only Christmas decorations and accessories; these stores are around from about mid-October through early January, and it is important that they do as much business as they can before Christmas day, because after that everything goes on major clearance. The Christmas decorations in this picture are nontraditional, and are not everyone's favorite holiday accessory, but someone out there obviously likes pink and purple together on their white Christmas tree.
